We are an NHS and Private practice. We offer a full range of dentistry and take pride in our reputation for treating patients who are anxious about dental treatment. Helping patients through their dental treatment is extremely rewarding to us.

Rails Lane Dental Surgery has been equipped to create a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere in which dentistry is practised in a friendly environment.

Our practice has been designed so patients with disabilities can access care. The practice is situated on the ground floor of a detached house with easy access for wheelchair patients with no stairs to climb. If you do have any disability that you think we need to know about please call us before your appointment and we will do our best to make suitable arrangements for you.

Private car parking space is available directly in front of the surgery.

We have invested in advanced systems and devices to minimise the risks of cross-infection and to enhance clinical and hygienic safety.

We are located a short distance from the No.31 bus stops – Southwood Road or Fishery Lane.

Private car parking space is available directly in front of the surgery.

We are regulated by General Dental Council and the Care Quality Commission.

Monday – Thursday

Monday 09.00 – 17.00
Tuesday 09.00 – 17.00
Wednesday 09.00 – 17.00
Thursday 09.00 – 17.00

We break for lunch 13.00 to 13.30
We are open one Saturday a month – 9AM to 2PM


If you need emergency care during working days  please phone surgery as early as possible and we will try our best to see you. 

For out hours emergency service is available on the surgery answerphone.

Cancellation policy

We require 24 hours notice for cancellations. A fee will be charged if you fail to attend an appointment without at least 24 hours before.

Our Treatments

We offer a full range of dentistry including:

  • General dentistry such as check ups, fillings, crowns, dentures, bridges etc.
  • Cosmetic dentistry: tooth whitening, veneers, aesthetic tooth coloured fillings, metal free crowns and bridges.
  • Sports and night mouth guards
  • Hygienist and periodontal treatment.
  • Oral health and dietary advice.

Our Complaints Procedure

We aim to make your experience at the practice as pleasurable as possible. However, should you have any complaints please contact Mrs K Harindra at the surgery on 023 9246 2419, who will be able to deal with your complaint and talk you through our procedure. Alternatively you can pick a copy of the complaints procedure from reception. 

Patient Confidentiality

We take patient confidentiality extremely seriously at Rails Lane Dental Practice and all personal information is treated in the strictest confidence. Only members of staff have acess to patient information. To see a copy of this policy please ask at reception.
